List of all the International Trade Fairs that will take place in Greece for the rest of 2010.
More than fifty farmers, businesses, entrepreneurs and agencies presented their innovative actions at a conference entitled: "Agricultural Entrepreneurship: Greek Products and Cutting-edge Technology” organised by the Foreign Ministry in association with the Ministry of Rural Development and Food at the Foreign Ministry’s “Y. Kranidiotis” amphitheatre.
In a continuously changing and competitive international environment, which is characterized by the globalisation of markets, the intense international competition and the outward business orientation, the economic diplomacy is recognized as one of the most important factors in promoting national interests and Greek business activities abroad.
The Mayor of Vienna was nominated "Honorary Ambassador of Greek Wines" in a special event that took place in the ambassadorial residence in Vienna, on 27 February 2008. The event was organized by the Greek Ambassador, Mr Panagiotis Zografos and the Greek Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs in Vienna, in collaboration with the Greek National Interprofessional Organization of Vine and Wine (E.D.O.A.O) and the “Wineacademy International Greece/Austria” house of wines.
New memoranda of cooperation were signed recently between the Secretariat General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Greek Federation of Furs and the Technical Chamber of Greece, as part of the Ministry’s program of synergies with private sector agents.
28/2/2008: The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and the Panhellenic Exporters Association (PEA) organized the event:
“Economic Diplomacy: Review 2007 – Action Plan 2008”.
