Mr. Droutsas: Our close cooperation, our full coordination, and the common course we followed towards this Council strengthened our joint voice; I think that we can feel satisfied with the outcome. We managed to substantially improve the conclusions with regard to Turkey; clearly expressed. At long last, we put some things in the right perspective again. I think from here on in, as well, we can look forward to our full coordination and to the continuation of our very close cooperation on all these issues – and also with regard to the EU, in general.
Mr. Kyprianou: I would like to start by thanking Minister Droutsas and the Greek government for the support and coordination we’ve had all this time. It wasn't easy. There were several difficulties, but I think we can all feel satisfied with the outcome today. Let me remind you that the objective of Cyprus, as it had been stated, was, first and foremost, to reinforce the wording of the conclusions, and, secondly, for it not to include anything that could obstruct Cyprus in any future actions. And we have achieved that. And let me also remind you that the goal set was for Turkey not to go through this Council unscathed, and if unanimity among the 27 member states was not possible on specific measures, for Cyprus to be able to take its own positions together, of course, with other partners and supporters. And this is precisely what we achieved. So I believe we can feel satisfied under the circumstances. And, at the same time, I think that, to us at least, Greece’s support within the framework of this process was very important; the fact that we were not alone and that we spoke with the same voice.
