ISSUANCE - RENEWAL OF GREEK PASSPORT

Issuance fees of new Greek passports:

For adults:             74,00 euros           

For minors:            57,50 euros

The application for the issuance of a new passport must be submitted in person by the individual.

Minors’ applications must be submitted either by both parents – in case of non participation of both parents the written consent of the absent one is required – or by the one who has the custody of the minor proved by unrevoked decision of the competent Greek or Lebanese Authorities.

 Documents required:

·          Certificate of registration in a municipality or a community in Greece, or a Greek Identity Card (original plus photocopy of both sides).

·          Old passport (in case it is available).

·          Two (2) recent colour pictures (4x6 cm printed in photo paper, no laser or ink-jet printouts are accepted). ·          Application for the passport issuance must be filled in by the individual and affidavit of no conviction plus certificate of fulfilment of military service (foreseen by the relevant Legislation) should be provided.

For individuals due to fulfil the national service in army:

·          All the above documents.

·          Certificate of non fulfilment of military service by the Greek competent Authorities.

Please note that: As from June 28, 2009 in addition to the above documents the pickup of the finger prints will be required.
