What the AGORA portal (http://agora.mfa.gr) offers the Greek business community

By promoting the internationalisation of Greek businesses, the Secretariat General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation created the AGORA portal (http://agora.mfa.gr). This portal, which displays daily feeds from 60 Economic and Trade Affairs Bureaus in 49 countries around the world, provides information on economic, trade, investment and other matters, which might be useful to Greek businessmen in their effort to export products and services to foreign markets.

The primary objective of this portal is to provide reliable and updated information to the Greek business community with regard to offers/demands for business cooperation, public competitions-procurements, business missions and exhibitions, market researches and studies, developments relating to economic and trade matters, information on the institutional and investment framework as well as the institutions and services in foreign countries, developments in bilateral relations, and general information.

Furthermore, this portal gives Greek businesspeople access to the contact information of more than 2,500 businesses around the world with an interest in our countrys products and services, and it also gives them the opportunity to search and find information on particular products or services, or specific countries that interest them.

Finally, through the AGORA portal, visitors can subscribe to a Newsletter, which provides information on products, services, and the latest developments in their countries of interest. Subscribers can choose to receive a daily, weekly or a monthly newsletter.
