Cuba
I. Diplomatic Relations
Greece and Cuba have full diplomatic relations. Greece has an Embassy in Havana and Cuba has an Embassy in Athens.

III. Political Relations
Greek positions on matters concerning Cuba are elaborated jointly with our community partners based on the EU Common Position on Cuba.
On January 2001. Cuban Foreign Minister Mr. Felipe Prez Roque carried out an official visit to Greece.
IV. Economic and Trade Relations
Commercial transactions are at a low level.
Bilateral trade between Greece and Cuba in 2003 is as follows:
Greek exports amounted to US$ 602,711 Cuban exports to US$ 773,839.
Due to the regime in Cuba and the financial situation in the country, there is no flow of tourists towards Greece.
On the contrary, there is a limited number of Greek tourists visiting Cuba (9,074 arrivals in 2004).
V. Cultural relations
There is a faculty of Modern Greek Studies as part of the Chair of Classic Literature of the University of Havana.
VI. Greek Community
The Greek Community numbers about 30 people.
There is no Greek community or other forms of organisation.
