I. Diplomatic Relations

Greece is represented in Honduras through the parallel accreditation of her Embassy in Mexico City.

II. Framework of Treaties

A bilateral Agreement on the abolition of visas for regular, service and diplomatic passport holders has been in force since 1998.

III. Political Relations

Bilateral political relations are very good. Greece supports a peaceful resolution to Hondurass territorial disputes with El Salvador and Nicaragua.

IV. Economic and Trade Relations

Trade: according to data from the Greek National Statistical Service, the trade balance with Honduras shows a surplus for Greece and amounted to 175,118. More specifically, Greek exports to Honduras amounted to $357,438 with imports at 182,320.

V. Cultural Relations

Greece offers scholarships for postgraduate studies through the State Scholarships Foundation and the Onassis Foundation.
